Skills That Go Hand in Hand
THIS POST IS STILL BEING WRITTEN, AND WILL BE FINISHED BY MONDAY MORNING.
With Countdown to 99 ending soon, I thought I’d write about skills that work perfectly together.
Mining – Mining works well with three other skills: Smithing, Crafting, and Runecrafting. Quite obviously, mining ores is needed to make bars and weapons in Smithing. Mining clay can help make clay pots and such. Mining Rune and Pure essence is necessary for Runecrafting.
Runecrafting – Runecrafting is really only related to Magic. Runes are needed to do spells. However, you can aslo make tiaras.
Smithing – Making weapons and bars can be used for Attack, Defence, Strength, Fletching, Woodcutting, and Construction, making it a very universal skill. Weapons such as swords and scimitars, as well as armour, can help with melee. Arrow tips can also be made for fletching. Axes can be made, as well. Construction sometimes requires nails, which, as you’ve probably guessed, can be made by smithing!
Woodcutting – A very easy to raise skill, and helpful when it comes to Firemaking, Flecthing, and Construction. Leveling up Firemaking with logs is very easy, and necessary for entering many dungeons and tunnels. Flecthing is useful for many Rangers, looking for free arrows. Planks are the biggest part of Construction.
Fletching – Other than Ranged, not a big skill helper. It does take supplies from some other skills though.
Firemaking – Even though it is usually useless, Firemaking goes with Cooking. Only if you have raw food, an axe, a tinderbox, and you are nowhere near a cooking range, it is helpful.
Hunting – Hunting can let you wear armour that helps certain stats. It also can get you feathers for fishing.
Fishing – Perfect with cooking! Fishing can get you Sharks, and Swordfish, and other sweet fishes!
Cooking – It goes with all combat related skills, because you need food to restore hitpoints when you take damage!
All combat skills – They all help prayer, because when you kill monsters you get bones! You can also get gold charms and other charms to help with Summoning!
Farming – Another very useful skill. You can grow herbs for herblore, vegetables for cooking, and… well that is it I guess.
Herblore = Herblore is very useful later on. It can increase your level in some skills temporarily, which can be useful for quests and such.
Slayer – Training slayer involves battling many unique monsters. This can help train any combat skill. Some slayer monsters drop charms, which help train summoning.
Crafting – Crafting helps with Ranged, Cooking, Farming, and Runecrafting. You can make leather armour, which can help with Ranged. You can also make bowls and pots which are used in Cooking, and weave baskets used for Farming. Tiaras can aslo be made, which are useful for getting runecrafting experience.
