A new quest was finally released today!

Skill Requirements: Level 51 Agility
Level 51 Hunter
Level 54 Smithing
Level 59 Mining

Quest Requirements:

1. Shield of Arrav
2. The Knight’s Sword
3. Romeo and Juliet
4. Demon Slayer
5. Temple of Ivok
6. The Family Crest
7. What Lies Below
8. Garden of Tranquility

Other Requirements: Can kill many level 85 monsters, get Kudos at Museum for completing Shield of Arrrav, and able to go into the wilderness!

Rewards: 2 quest points, 15k hunter exp, 10k smithing exp, 10k mining exp, 10k defence exp, 2k agility exp.

No New Author

There will be no new author.

Neither submitted an entry. This is wit a week’s notice, so how can i trust them with updates? I can’t.

Countdown to 99 – REUNION!

After one of our most expected eliminations, I figured this would be a nice post.

The first Countdown to 99 started April 12, 2008.

Jon Lester: He was the first person eliminated. He trained Hunter, and started at, and was eliminated at, level 64, and is now…. level 69! An amazing increase of 5 levels! Way to go!

Week two eliminated contestants were 13mmetivier and Elkalsoe, both unable to attend the reunion.

Week three eliminated Themanohn2, also unable to attend the reunion.

Dragonmann23: Dragonmann23 trained Mining, and started at level 64. He left at 67, and is still level 67. That is okay, consider he went on to win season two! he also quit RuneScape.

Schofieldgod: Eliminated the same week as Dragonmann23. Schofieldgod trained attack and started at level 32, and got eliminated at level 39. He is now level 60!!!!!!!!!!

Mak 33333333: Made it to the final four, but stopped there. He started at level 21 firemaking, and got all the way to level 51! He is now level 52, but doesn’t play anymore.

Vaskor: Vaskor made it to the final three in Farming! He started at level 94, and got to level 95. He is now level 98! At 11,881,667 xp, he is so close to level 99!

Ekaj Renrut: Runner-up, and trained fishing! Started at level 40, and ended at level 62. He is still level 62, but has become a fan favorite in Countdown to 99!

Nalyd Renrut: Winner! He trained Woodcutting, and went from level 39 to 67! He is now level 73!

In a few weeks, there will be a season two reunion!

Scuzul – Firemaking: Level 57 to level 57, increased by 0.

Spencemac724 – Strength: Level 57 to level 57, increased by 0.

Stinkowing – Cooking: Level 83 to level 83, increased by 0.

Vaskor – Firemaking: Level 92 to level 92, increased by 0.

Max Bulldog is safe from elimination, because he won last week’s prize.

This week, Ekaj Renrut ad Nalyd Renrut both got ths highest score, 3. However, Ekaj had gain the most overall, so he gets the prize! Ekaj must pick somebody who gain zero, anyone who didn’t even gain 1 level, and send them packing.

Ekaj picked… Scuzul. Ekaj says, “He seems like a threat, and this could be the only chance to eliminate him.”

Author Contest Challenge One

We got two sign-ups for this, so no eliminations I guess. Just five challenges.

13mmetivier and JT, two authors who think they have what it takes.

Challenge one: Due on Tuesday, September 23. Both authors must write a guide or review or any kind of post about any update that has occured in September 2008. E-mail it to duelknight@verizon.net, then Jon Lester and I will discuss a winner for this challenge.

Summer’s End

The sequel to Spirirt if Summer is here, and it is short, but intense. I don’t  have a guide yet, but I have a few guides already on the list.

Requirements: Completed Spirit of Summer, able to take blows from level 700+, 23 summoning, 23 woodcutting, 35 hunter, 45 mining, 47 firemaking, 55 prayer. Wow!

Items needed:Ammulet of Ghostspeak, Jennica’s Ring, Albino Rat Pouch (several, 4 to 6) ANY PICKAXE AND ANY AXE, Prayer Potions, tinderbox, spade, and food recommended.

Rewards: 1 QP, 1.5k summoning xp, 5k woodcutting, mining, and hunter xp, 10k prayer xp, 15k firemaking xp, Access to Spirit Shields, New Jennica’s Ring, and access to a level 785 monster to fight!!!!

Author Contest!

For years, people have begged to be on this site (Example Jon Lester! Lol, jk.) After seeing Jon Lester’s blogs, I see he has come a long way since then. I am proud to say he is the best author on any site I’ve ever had! He even got us linked on RuneScape Reader! However, there are other bloggers out there, who aren’t so great. Perhaps, they need a good kick in the pants. (Ouch!) That is why, I came up with a contest.

The first ten people to sign-up get to be in the contest. Each week, their will be a challenge, we’re they will e-mail me a “post” they wrote to fit that week’s theme. It might not be a whole week, maybe four days or so. Worst author gets eliminated.

If you guys couldn’t tell, I am in a good mood, and I love Survivor!
