Shooting star Guide

OK i bet that you have read some of the post on this site or the posts on runescape main page. well i (jon lester) am going to help you will all of your shooting star needs!

Ok first off, the pictures that i am useing now are from www.runescape.wikia.com, when i try to do a shooting star there are so many people that my computer lag meaning that its hard to make a picture.

To start doing a shooting star there are no requirements other than 10 mining (you should have higher than that though), and a pick axe.

To find the stars

1. I would also join a clan called “starchasers” who’s user name is “rgollum”. They are uber (over the top) good! they help with star location, and time until landing- but will talk about that later.

2. Ok so ether you should join that clan or go on the runescape forums in the new section “Distractions and Diversions”.

3. The last way is to do it old school and go to your or someone else home and look in there or your telescope. It will say where it will crash and when. It will say “you see a shooting star! The star looks like it will land in (name) in (time) to (time) minutes.

Mining the star

1. After finding where a star will land, grab your pick axe, and if you have boots of lightness or a spottie or spottier cape.

2. Get to that area that the star will land as fast as you can, oh! i also recommend to bring teleport runes, rings ext. and if you want restore potions. after getting there if its a world like 31, 15, or 100 then it will get pretty laggy and remember to always be checking out what the clan is saying like “opps, its not at the coal carts but sw of varrock!”

3. The next is just to mine the heck out of the rock, you will get star dust, the more you get the better your prize! you can make a lot off the star or a little all depending on your mining level and the amount of people there. And speaking of mining level, there are also different levels of star. if it level 6 then you need 60 mining, level 9, 90 mining, but dont worry! when people start to mine on it the level goes down. to check it level right click and press prospect. good luck!

Prize’s!

cosmic runes, astral runes, noted gold ores, coins, and randomly gems from the rock! you get a much better chance of getting gems from a star then a regular mining rock.
